The Next-Gen Lottery is Here to Take Your Ether (And Its Just a Smart Contract)

in #gamble6 years ago (edited)

Yes, there is a new way for many to lose their money and even less to make a lot. Thanks to the power of smart contracts, we have a provably fair lottery doing things no lottery has ever done before.

Have you heard of Fomo3D? The "exit-scam" that is actually an complex use of numbers to that will without a doubt, take shit ton of ethereum from the community.

The rules are very simple really but it can be confusing at first, but I'll explain them as plainly as can be:

It's basically a game of hot potato with special rules, only you want to be holding the potato at the end. There is a 24 hour timer, you unload some ethereum to buy this thing called a Key (the lotto tickets) and once that timer reaches 0, whoever was the last person to buy a Key, will win the pot (221 ETH as of this writing).

Now the interesting thing is that every time someone buys a key(s), the timer gets an added 30 seconds (capped at 24 hours). Simultaneously, the price of the key veeeerry slowly goes up as more keys are bought.

As of this writing, 1 key costs 0.00051721 ETH and a total of 2,830,572 have already been bought.

Now here's where the lotto pulls you in to feed the pot.

This lotto, pays dividends. That's right, dividends. Depending on the amount of keys you buy, you get paid a dividend from people buying new keys; More keys, higher dividends. Also if this lotto ends up going for weeks and weeks, you will earn dividends to hopefully at least cover your most likely insane gambling loss.

This can make (or take) a lot of money to those that built the pot, and give the late comer a considerable and life changing amount of Ether for buying the last ticket.

Oh, there's also these 4 teams you can chose with its own perks but there's more info on this page that you can skim through. They say just pick Snek.

But yeah here is my referral link if you would please. You gonna gamble some Ethereum might as well help the guy that got you into the scam right? haha-ha...

Ok in all seriousness, it is not a scam, not unless you think smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain are too. Here's the contract for those that can read it. However, this is gambling. Expect to lose everything you throw in. Just make sure its on my referral okay? ;)
