Since Trump called Haiti a Shithole now people who oppose to him try to dismiss the point of what he meant and say that Haiti is the best place to live.

For me, trying to make the place look good is more harmfull than facing that Haiti is in a bad state.
Obviously it is a beautiful place, and with Conan being rich hes not going to see the bad places, only the atractive parts and a lots of smiles from the people that are getting paid to make him believe that Haiti is just perfect.
But this is a slap in the face to the opposition of the country that would try to make changes and open everyones eyes.

Now the government has something to brag about, saying "Look, Conan said that we are fine, don't worry about anything else, this is a beautiful country!"

I guess is because i'm from Venezuela, and i know that my government would LOVE to do that, any excuse they can use to change the attention to something more serious is going to be a help for them.

This is not helpful, and a lot of people in Haiti will feel annoyed to know that a rich guy went to their country and took some pictures saying that everything is okay just to prove a point.
