thanks for the post @tngflx. I am a 10 year early stage 4 throat cancer survivor and red meat is right near the top of my 'don't eat' list, just down the list from sugar and soda pop.

Be smart, if you have to eat meat > kosher is best [Moses nailed this one thousands of years ago], organically raised is very important [to avoid all the chemicals that the animals consume and the meds they are raised with], and eat it with thanks [after all another living being gave its life that you may enjoy your meal], eat joyfully [it's good for the digestive tract] and try to eat it sparingly.

Wow thanks for educating me too. Im so happy for you that you survived through that. I had an uncle who was unfortunate enough cause of bad diet. Thyroid cancer is genetic cause. However it is not easy at all to go through this. Keep living happily thats the most important thing in life)
