Hiking in the wonderful GESAEUSE in Styria/Austria

A friend of mine and me went on a hiking trip last October in the Gesaeuse Area in the upper Styria - 2 hours drive from Graz.. I think we were the only guys on the mountain, cause the weather was pretty bad at the beginning.. But as we came to the top of the mountain after a hard way up, the sun came out a bit. But it was still freezing, but we went on and it all in all it was a great day.

Here are some pictures I made during this great day.

This is Alex at the beginning of the tour. It was very slippery, so we had to take care of ourselves and of each other.

But we moved on and at this picture we saw the top already, so we could laugh again after a hard way up..

The last steps to the top.. Great view and great way to hike.

And at the top the sky cleared up for a few minutes, so we could shoot this picture.

After a long day we were happy being back home, but in the end we were happy that we did this trip, even if the weather wasn't that fantastic. But there's no bad weather, there are only bad clothes ;)
