Contest : Weekly Diary game| Week 09 of 2025 | A Successful Meeting

On the 23rd day of February 2025, my association had first monthly meeting for 2025, it was a very successful meeting and I was emotional and happy at the ending of the meeting. It was impressive to see a good number of the boys attending the meeting, I loved the way everybody co-operated. This is an incredible diary game contest and I can't afford to miss it this week.

Morning Period

I attended 6am mass in our outstation that recently came into existence and after the mass I went back to the main church with our Reverend father and others so that the 7am mass for that day can begin at once but I wasn't serving the 7am mass. The previous day I organized people that will serve it. I headed straight to a supermarket so that I can buy some things I and my executives will share for everyone that attends the meeting after the last mass for that day.

I bought a pack of biscuits and a carton of juice, the pack of the biscuit was worth 5.1 steem and the carton of juice was worth 14 steem. I paid the shopkeeper who's also a member of my church too. I left the shop and forgot to snap the carton of juice but is not really compulsory. I went back to the house few minutes to 8am and ate breakfast before doing some other things.

The second mass in our main church ended and I was already on my way to church for the meeting when it ended. I met slot of my church members on my way to the church, some of them were wondering what was the content of the polythene bag I was carrying.

Afternoon Period

The meeting started successfully after we finally settled down at a particular spot in the church. I was charging my phone so I couldn't take any pictures of the moment the meeting was going on. It started with an opening prayer by one of the boys and we sang out anthem, after that I said an opening remark to the everyone. We handled alot of situations that was going on the association, I gave everyone to make complains or observation and they were all settled to their satisfaction.

I adviced the boys to be very serious with their various duties in the association, we are not working man, we are all working for the Almighty God in this association. I also told them to ensure that they buy their uniforms so that we won't be looking odd in the meeting. I was so happy that alot of them managed to pay their dues and also uniform default fees.

We ended the meeting successfully and before that I announced to everyone that we finally have a refreshments and they were all excited, we have been doing meetings for three years plus and we hardly share refreshments, most times the boys complain about and I always assure them that those in charge of supporting us for refreshments will help us since the money in the association pocket is not enough. As the president I decided to buy refreshments with my own money and the boys were so happy and shocked, you need to see the happiness in them I felt so emotional and wished all our meeting days can be like that at least.

Evening Period

I was at home throughout the evening/night period of that day, that was when I had more time for myself. I really had a long day but I still need to do some productive things online. I decided to check some contests I can participate in, through disconnect's blog and while doing that I came across the my contest too, I decided to screenshot it as memories because that was the first contest i organized this year.

I derive joy in organizing contests alot and I'm always impressed when I get a large number of participants. I found the contest I can participate in and started preparing my entry before eating dinner that night. I had to also discuss some important things with my friends on Whatsapp too. I completed the post but I can't remember if I actually posted it that night or the early hours of the next day.
