Be ostentatious and be seen. What is not seen is as though it did not exist. It was light that first caused all creation to shine forth. Display fills up many blanks, covers up deficiencies, and gives everything a second life, especially when it is backed by genuine merit.

Baltasar Gracian, (1601-1658)

Human nature is as it is and you will be judge. You will always be judged by its appearance; if you are unseen then you disapear from people's eyes and attention.

Is this what you want? Normality is Mordor... Never let yourself buried in Oblivion... This place is cold and dark, and you don't want to see yourself there.

Stand out.

Be distinct and apparent, at all cost.

Shining brighter than others is a skill that can be learnt and if you are stucked in "normal-land", you have to learn.

Do everything so people can assimilated your name with quality, style, charm, you got it, an image, that sets you apart from the grey crowd.

Once the image is built, you have an appearance, a reputation, a place in the sky for your star.

Pablo Picasso never allowed himself to appear normal; if his name became too much synonym with a particular style, he would confuse the public with a new series of paintings that went against all expectations. This was his true painting style.

His motto was to better create something ugly and disturbing than to settle for ordinariness.
