It's bloodbath in the crypto space but relax and try to stay in the race
Steemians are not affected by these so-called crypto bloodbath because the normal thing for us is to stay earning STEEM tokens no matter what, well at least for those that are staying consistent for their work/hobby. It is because most of the time the STEEM token price is always undervalued and any appreciation of prices is just a bonus. What I am saying is that we are just used to having a low-priced STEEM token but what is good is that at least we have a dedicated group of developers and a vibrant set of community which is the life, spirit, and backbone of STEEM which is why Steemit is here to stay and will continue to be a great part of our lives for the foreseeable future.
We are lucky to have bitcoin because BTC is a prime mover of all cryptocurrency prices and because BTC is bound to grow in value through time because of its working fundamentals, it supports the value of STEEM token just like any other cryptos out there as it always pushes the prices in waves after waves in the market as we can see in the charts especially when its bull market happens.
The only thing is that when the value of STEEM goes down, we only have to contend with relatively low earnings but it is a consistent earning day in and day out unlike traders out there which is always at the mercy of the volatility of the markets and is always at risk of losing money because cryptocurrency prices as we have experienced in with the greater value of Bitcoin still remains to be so volatile and continues to scare people each and everytime a crypto bloodbath happens.
We just have to be chill about it especially now that the crypto space is getting and will be getting better for the reason of the upcoming USA government's friendliness to cryptos. We still yet to see the effects of Mr. Trumps plan to make the Bitcoin reserve fund which aims to buy a certain percentage of BTC and this supporting the price of BTC and in turn would positively affect the prices of altcoins considering that supposedly, nation states will follow suit and also make their own BTC reserve funds and this could make a BTC "super cycle" where BTC will just go up and up and will never go down like before and although it is just a theory, it can still happen, we still do not know.
