Hoy tengo el placer de contarles una bonita historia basada en hechos reales, en hechos que yo viví y sentí, los cuales me conmovieron e influyó en mi crecimiento como personal, sobre el cuidado y cariño que se le puede llegar a tener a un animalito. Les contaré sobre cómo Salvé una Vida e hice una nueva amiga

Mi amiga Chispita.

Mi amiga Chispita es una perrita rescatada de la calle. Ella deambulaba entre los barrios de la Ciudad de Maracay, Estado Aragua, Venezuela. Tenía una vida espantosa como cualquier perrito que vive en la calle, ya que no tenía un lugar seguro donde dormir sin pasar frío, sin que se moje por la lluvia, donde no recibiera ningún tipo de maltratos, pasar hambre, en sí no tenía nada la pobre perrita. Además de eso, desarrolló cataras en un ojo, provocando la pérdida de visión en este.

My friend Chispita is a dog rescued from the street. She wandered among the neighborhoods of Maracay City, Aragua State, Venezuela. She had a frightful life like any other dog living in the street, since she had no safe place to sleep without being cold, without getting wet by the rain, where she would not receive any kind of mistreatment, go hungry, the poor dog had nothing. Besides that, she developed cataracts in one eye, causing the loss of vision in this one.

Cuando la vi por primera vez, me encariñé tanto de ella, que siempre le guardaba su comidita y un potecito donde pudiera beber agua limpia. Incluso, trataba de que no se fuera, por lo menos no tan lejos, ya que me ponía mal cuando no la veía, y temía que le fuese a pasar algo.

When I seen her for the first time, I became so fond of her, that I always kept her food and a little pot where she could drink clean water. I even tried to keep her from leaving, at least not too far away, because I got sick when I didn't see her, and I was afraid that something would happen to her.

Cuando iba llegando a mi casa, veo a lo lejos que un perrito está tomando agua en el potecito que le dejaba, pero no le paré. Mi sorpresa fue, que ese perrito que vi a lo lejos, era mi amiga. Era la perrita que estuve buscando por un buen rato. Mi corazón se aceleró de la gran emoción que sentí al verla. Al saber que a ella no le pasó nada en la calle, que estaba bien. Ese mismo día, le abrí las puertas de mi casa para que pasara. Desde ese momento, ella no se ha separa* en ningún momento de mí.

When I was arriving at my house, I see in the distance that a doggie is drinking water in the little pot I was leaving him, but I didn't stop him. My surprise was, that the doggie I saw in the distance, was my friend. It was the doggy I was looking for for a long time. *My heart crackled from the great emotion I felt when I saw her. To know that nothing happened to her in the street, that she was fine. That same day, I opened the doors of my house for her to come in. From that moment on, she hasn't been separated at any moment from me.

Pero hay otra sorpresa, y es que la perrita estaba embarazada. Eso sorprendió a todos en la casa. Nunca nos imaginamos que la perrita estaba embarazada, ya que no se le notaba. Así que empecé a darle mucha más atención y cuidados para que su embarazo fuera seguro. Los perritos que tuvo eran muy hermosos*, pero como no podía quedarme con todos, así que me quedé con uno de ellos, y el resto los di en adopción a personas que sabían que los iban a cuidar bien.

But there is another surprise, and that is that the dog was pregnant. That surprised everyone in the house.* We never imagined that the dog was pregnant, since it wasn't noticeable. So I began to give her a lot more attention and care so that her pregnancy would be safe. The puppies she had were very beautiful, but since I couldn't keep them all, so I kept one of them, and the rest I *gave them in adoption to people who knew they would take good care of them.

Chispita es una integrante más de mi familia. Ella es amiga muy cariñosa, fiel y amistosa. Juntos vivimos tantas experiencias, que la verdad nunca imaginé que fueran a ocurrir. La felicidad que me da con tan solo con verla al caminar por mi casa, no tiene precio.

Chispita is one more member of my family. She is a very loving, faithful and friendly friend. Together we have lived so many experiences that I never imagined would happen. The happiness she gives me just by seeing her walking around my house is priceless.

Actualmente, estamos viviendo en La Vecindad, Estado Nueva Esparta, Venezuela. Preparados para cualquier otra experiencia que se nos venga.

We are currently living in La Vecindad, Nueva Esparta State, Venezuela. Ready for any other experience that may come our way.
