I am feeling very happy and would like to say special thanks to @steemitfoods for organizing this food contest for pakistani members. I am sharing the recipe of punjeeri famous sweet dish of Punjab Pakistan.

Punjeeri is Northern Indian dish and then originated in Punjab.
In Punjab it is made on every special occasion like marriages, or any festivals.
Its also given to pregnant women and those who delivered babies for energy and increased the lactation. Women started its preparation week before any event. Its taste is really delicious and is full of energy and nutrients. Richly loaded with pure desi ghee and dry fruits.

Ingredients

Ingredientquantity
Semilona100gram
Sugar75 gram
Desi pure ghee100 gram
Cardamom4
Almond6 to 8
Kaju4 to 5
Raisins20 to 30
Chopped coconut1 tsp

How to cook

Step 1

Take a pan added pure ghee and crushed cardamom waited till aroma came.and then add slowly Semilona in to it.The super ingredients I am adding the dasi ghee which is so good gives so much energy and natural fat burner.This is very traditional dish and use of dsi ghee enhance the taste and aroma.If someone don't like the dasi ghee can add any other oil as your choice.the Semilone is also has very nutritious value and it makes bones very strong.



Step 2

Added Semilona and cooked it till light golden color don't fry it on high flame on low flame with continuously striring so that I don't burn and because once it become good brown 🟤🟤 taste changes so just lightly brown it.



Step 3

Take a pan added 2 to 3 tsp and added sugar waited until it melted and add water in it according to your choice want to make thick or some what watery I am traditional way so adding a little water 💦💦.



Step 4

This is crushed coconut 🥥🥥 it is very good after 30s young girls aor mommy to be should use this small piece it makes you back bone strong and also good for glow on skin.Used in crushed or take coconut 🥥🥥 water.



Step 5

Take all dry fruits and crushed it. Now, added all dry fruit in cooked semilona.



Step 6

Added sugar syrup in the semilona, mixed well. Lower the flame. Cooked for two minutes. Its ready. Garnish it with almond.
