My Actifit Report Card: May 19 2021

Hallo Steemians, HivePeople und Actifitter,

Jetzt hatte ich gestern meinen Actifit-Beitrag geschrieben und bin dann vor dem Senden mit dem Handy in der Hand auf der Couch eingeschlafen. Also kommt mein Beitrag mit etwas Verspätung.

Am Dienstag sind wir wieder einmal losgelaufen um das Dorf zu umrunden.

Meistens laufen wir immer 90 Minuten und schaffen so ungefähr 9 Kilometer. Unsere kleine Laufgruppe existierte jetzt ungefähr seit 8,5 Jahren. Hirbei laufen wir eigentlich immer mal andere Wege und Richtungen und dennoch haben wir am Ende immer das gleiche Endergebnis. Ca. 90 Minuten und ca. 9 Kilometer.

Diesesmal führte uns der Weg über den Papenberg. Ein beliebter Aussichtspunkt entlang eines Wanderweges. Von hier aus hat man einen schönen Blick in Richtung Kleve.

Dieser Punkt in der Nähe des Prinz-Moritz-Grabes wird schon seit Jahrzehnten (oder Jahrhunderten) von Fotografen, Malern und anderen Künstlern aufgesucht um die Aussicht festzuhalten.

Auch wir hatten uns vor der Corona-Pandemie in einer Galerie ein Bild von hier ausgesucht. Seit über einem Jahr konnten wir nicht mehr hin. Wenn es jetzt die Lockerungen zulassen, werden wir einmal nachsehen, ob das Bild noch zu kaufen ist.

Now I had written my Actifit contribution yesterday and then fell asleep on the couch with the phone in my hand before sending. So my contribution comes with some delay.

***On Tuesday we started again to walk around the village. ***

Most of the time we run for 90 minutes and thus manage about 9 kilometers. Our little running group had been around for about 8.5 years now.

At the same time, we actually always run different paths and directions and yet we always end up with the same end result. About 90 minutes and about 9 kilometers.

This time the way led us over the Papenberg. A popular lookout point along a hiking trail.

From here you have a beautiful view towards Kleve. This point near the Prince Moritz grave has been visited by photographers, painters and other artists for decades (or centuries) to capture the view.

Before the corona pandemic, we had chosen a picture of this vantage point in a gallery. We haven't been able to go there for over a year. When we are allowed to go into the gallery again, we will see if the picture can still be bought.
