An Entrepreneur, Drone Pilot, Startup Enthusiast, and Jazz Musician, Walk into a Bar...

Introduction

Hello my fellow Steemian's, (is that a thing), as the title suggests, I am an entrepreneur, drone pilot, tech startup guy and former jazz musician/composer, in that order. I was originally introduced to the site several months ago by @pairmike and like most of us, thought "this sounds too good to be true", and dismissed it. Never in my life have I been more "happy" to be wrong about something (Steemit). Even in the short amount of time I've been able to explore the site I've found myself coming more drawn to it, and dare I say "obsessed" even.

A little about myself, I was a jazz musician/composer, who got "frustrated" with the starving musician thing, and got a "real job" in corporate America at a Fortune 300 company, got tired of that, stumbled into the land of tech startups and onto the path of entrepreneurship and haven't' looked back. Obviously that's the abridged version but you get the idea.

Well, it's been just over 2 years since I started that journey, and over the course of those two years I've been fortunate enough to have met some really successful people, learn from some REALLY smart people, and unfortunately gotten burned a time or two in the process. And while I freely admit that I do not have all the answers, it is my hope to share some of those experiences and what I've learned with the rest of the Steemit community and that you gain something from it as well. How does the old adage go? "A smart man learns from his mistakes a really wise man learns from the mistake of other's...or something close to that.

Currently I am founder and Head drone pilot of SKYPORT Drones, a startup that merges drone technology, with beautiful, eye catching drone aerial imagery (photography + video).
