RE: Introducing myself, how I found Steemit, why I'm here and my work/Art...
Welcome to Steemit Nico! Excellent work, even the old stuff.
It's usually requested for someone with an established web presence to verify their account here with some link or mention of Steemit on a public account elsewhere. Would you mind doing that on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram please?
Thanks for the compliment it's much appreciated especially on here.
I did that but removed the post it was embarrassing and insulting how poorly people people on Steemit ignore quality work like mine that takes hours and then reward garbage content. And there seems to be a bias against nudity as well. So I'm not sure if I even want to be part of this community.
Example: I have see posts that is nothing more that stolen google searched image and video last I checked made $85.
I know a girl that does porn that learned about steem it from my FB page. She took 5 minutes and did a selfie and made $246
Most of my posts including this one made less than .20 yet everywhere I have posted my work online people love it, like it and follow me. One post I did that was just a black and white headshot image did $13.
This site will not attract quality content creators and artist if this is how it's going to be. And I would not tell them to come here to get insulted like I have been.
There also seems to be a bias against any nudity, which has been part of art since the beginning. Not at all happy with my experience of Steemit thus far. I hope that will change because creatives and artists need a place like this. I'm going to give it shot.
I wouldn't take it too personally. Upvotes are not guaranteed. Occasionally someone will be very successful with their posts here immediately but it's not common.
I'd be interested in knowing which post was a stolen image that made $85. I do my best to fight stuff like that on Steem too.
I have re-posted a link from my Facebook to the one image that has done well enough not to be an total embarrassment.
I am not finding that on https://www.facebook.com/NicoSimonPrincelyArt/ and https://www.facebook.com/nicosimonprincely is private-ish. At least I can't see it without a facebook account.
I help with photography curation and it would be helpful to show others that you're verified, so a public post is most useful.
I have 3 accounts... you got the one I no longer use (probably should though) but I just posted up on https://www.facebook.com/NicoSimonPrincelyArt/ and https://www.facebook.com/nicoprincely
Thanks for your help.
Awesome thank you!
