A little introduction of myself

Hei "Steemit'ers",
I am Lizz, nursing student, living and working in Finland. I joined steemit a while back but decided to take my time to observe and understand how it works. I must admit, I find it fascinating and I'm glad my friend introduced me to it. Since I ain't a pro writer, I'm going to basically write about everything that I go through and the things that may be happening around. Like my travel experiences, activities, life as a student nurse in Finland and other shenanings happening about.
The below photo was taken at my recent trip in Cannes, France. It's one of the best places to visit. Long beautiful beaches, perfect weather and amazing friendly people. I will write about this trip in my later post.
Did I mention that I'm a part time fashion model too?. In the photo below I was attending Helsinki Fashion week July this year. I love fashion, arts and anything connected to it. I am going to talk about my modelling career, experiences and challenges faced in this beautiful but also hush industry.

So, who is Lizz? I'm that girl next door, a daughter, a sister, and that crazy aunt who spoils her nieces and nephews :D. But really, I was born in Kenya, in a beautiful village/town called Kapsabet. Born in a family of two tribes, Kikuyu and Kalenjin. Brought up by an amazing strong single mum. I was the middle child of three girls. Life was great, we never had it all but had enough we needed. I lost my big sister and my only mum through death at age 14. My younger sister being 7yrs then. It was never easy, but we have both grown up to be strong, hardworking independent ladies. I will be writing a little bit of my past growing up as an orphan in Kenya. Giving you a glimpse of a different world you never knew, as an inspiration. Lifes' beauty in all perspective.
