Ho visto i primi risultati di questo fatiscente mondiale per club di calcio che si svolge negli Stati Uniti.
10-0, sara' mica una cosa seria...
Intanto si puo' dire che dal punto di vista della vendita dei biglietti 'e stato un flop, tanto che li stanno svendendo.

Sappiamo bene che il football negli Stati Uniti, malgrado Pele' e Messi e' sempre il fratello povero di Basket, Football americano, Hockey e Baseball.
Al limite e' uno sport da donne.
Poi parliamo di giocatori spremuti come limoni da campionati lunghissimi, una Champions League che prevede sempre piu' partite, nation league, qualificazioni mondiali e varie coppe nazionali.

Solitamente questo e' il periodo dei raduni delle varie squadre, ci si ritrova in montagna per 2/3 settimane, si corre nei boschi, si mette fieno in cascina.
Prima le amichevoli con i dopolavoristi del paese ospitante poi altre con squadre sempre piu' qualificate, il tutto con la giusta gradualita'.

Se porti i giocatori a fare un torneo con squadre di altissimo livello, dall'altra parte del mondo quando fai la preparazione?
Poi ci si lamenta che i giocatori si rompono, passeggiano con le proprie nazionali o arrivano a maggio stanchissimi.
Oramai e' solo piu' una questione di quattrini, lo sport conta poco o nulla, per carita' i giocatori sono strapagati ma il fisico umano oltre un certo limite non arriva.

Mi sembra tutta una gran pagliacciata.

CLUB WORLD CUP

I've seen the first results of this crumbling club world cup that is taking place in the United States.
10-0, it can't be serious...
In the meantime, we can say that from the point of view of ticket sales, it was a flop, so much so that they are selling them off.

We know very well that football in the United States, despite Pele' and Messi, is still the poor brother of Basketball, American Football, Hockey and Baseball.
At most, it is a women's sport.
Then we talk about players squeezed like lemons by very long championships, a Champions League that includes more and more matches, nation league, world cup qualifiers and various national cups.

Usually this is the period of the various teams' gatherings, we meet in the mountains for 2/3 weeks, we run in the woods, we put hay in the barn.
First the friendlies with the host country's after-workers, then others with increasingly more qualified teams, all with the right gradualness.

If you take the players to a tournament with top-level teams, on the other side of the world when do you prepare?
Then people complain that the players get injured, go on a walk with their national teams or arrive in May very tired.
Now it's just a question of money, sport counts for little or nothing, for goodness sake the players are overpaid but the human body doesn't go beyond a certain limit.

It all seems like a big farce to me.
