Ayoo Kita… Ke Jakarta Fair… | Anniversary Jakarta's 490th

GOVERNOR Jakarta, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, opens Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ) on Thursday June, 22, 2017 or coincides with the 490th anniversary commemoration of Jakarta. However, the PRJ or also called the Jakarta Fair, has lasted a week before. I am grateful to see the Jakarta Fair two days before opening or on Tuesday 20 June 2017. I came when the atmosphere is still pretty quiet, so no need to jostle with other visitors.

Jakarta anniversary commemoration is indeed identical with Jakarta Fair. Every year, Jakarta Fair is held by exhibiting a variety of products ranging from fashion, automotive, culinary, and so are sold at a low price. Compared to the Jakarta Fair in previous years that I attended, this time the exhibition venue at JIExpo Complex, Kemayoran, looks more comfortable and clean.

To enter, visitors who come by taxi or private car must walk about 200 meters to reach JIExpo. Each visitor is charged Rp25,000. However, based on the experience of previous years, I suspect the entrance fee will be more expensive on weekends like Saturday and Sunday. With that cost, the end get discounted a number of products on display.

It should be diligent to ask what are the benefits of the discount coupon. Therefore, there is a beverage product mentioned can be obtained free of charge after submitting the coupon. Apparently, the new free drink can be obtained after buying some sachet of coffee powder (they call it one renseng) for Rp10,000. It is true, if you buy a normal price, one renseng coffee powder can reach Rp20,000. But, let me not impress the visitor is trapped, there should be an earlier explanation of what ease end.

Similarly, culinary booths that provide a discount of Rp10,000 for each purchase of at least Rp100,000. There is a booth manager who does not provide the discount. When a visitor complains, the cashier says it can not be changed anymore. They make visitors forgetfulness as an excuse.

Outside of the incident, I enjoy this time PRJ more neat, orderly, and comfortable with a discount price of some goods reached 70 percent. As reported by www.jakartafair.co.id, PRJ this time enlivened 500 more live events and 2,500 more participants who held events in an area of 125,000 square meters. GUBERNUR Jakarta, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, membuka Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ) pada Kamis 22 Juni 2017 atau bertepatan dengan peringatan hari ulang tahun Jakarta ke-490. Namun, gelaran PRJ atau juga disebut Jakarta Fair, sudah berlangsung sepekan sebelumnya. Saya bersyukur bisa menyaksikan Jakarta Fair dua hari sebelum pembukaan atau pada Selasa 20 Juni 2017. Saya datang ketika suasana masih lumayan sepi, sehingga tidak perlu berdesakan dengan pengunjung lain.

Peringatan ulang tahun Jakarta memang identik dengan Jakarta Fair. Saban tahun, Jakarta Fair digelar dengan memamerkan berbagai produk mulai dari fashion, otomotif, kuliner, dan sebagainya yang dijual dengan harga murah. Dibandingkan dengan Jakarta Fair tahun-tahun sebelumnya yang saya hadiri, kali ini tempat pameran di Kompleks JIExpo, Kemayoran, terlihat lebih nyaman dan bersih.

Untuk masuk, pengunjung yang datang dengan taksi atau mobil pribadi harus berjalan kaki sekitar 200 meter untuk mencapai JIExpo. Setiap pengunjung dikenai biaya masuk Rp25.000. Namun, berdasarkan pengalaman tahun-tahun sebelumnya, saya menduga biaya masuk akan lebih mahal pada akhir pekan seperti hari Sabtu dan Minggu. Dengan biaya itu, pengujung mendapatkan potongan harga sejumlah produk yang dipamerkan.

Harus rajin bertanya apa saja keuntungan kupon diskon tersebut. Sebab, ada sebuah produk minuman yang disebutkan bisa diperoleh dengan gratis setelah menyerahkan kupon. Ternyata, minuman gratis tersebut baru bisa diperoleh setelah membeli beberapa sachet bubuk kopi (mereka menyebutnya satu renseng) seharga Rp10.000. memang benar, kalau membeli dengan harga normal, satu renseng bubuk kopi tersebut bisa mencapai Rp20.000. Tetapi, biar tidak terkesan pengunjung dijebak, seharusnya ada penjelasan sebelumnya kemudahan apa yang diperoleh pengujung.

Demikian juga dengan stan kuliner yang menyediakan potongan harga Rp10.000 untuk setiap pembelian minimal Rp100.000. Ada pengelola stan yang tidak memberikan potongan harga tersebut. Ketika pengunjung komplain, kasir bilang tidak bisa diubah lagi. Mereka menjadikan kealpaan pengunjung sebagai alasan.

Di luar kejadian tersebut, saya menikmati PRJ kali ini yang lebih rapi, tertib, dan nyaman dengan potongan harga sejumlah barang mencapai 70 persen. Seperti dilansir www.jakartafair.co.id, PRJ kali ini dimeriahkan 500 lebih live even dan 2.500 lebih peserta yang menggelar acara di areal seluas 125.000 meter persegi.
