바야흐로 ICO의 계절입니다.
꿈이 있는 개발자들과 사업가들은 ICO를 만들고, 투자자들은 수십~수백 배의 수익을 노리고 ICO에 투자합니다.
요즘 ICO들은 빈틈이 없습니다.
백서를 만드는 것부터 시작해서, 화려한 로드맵, 여태까지 가상화폐들이 가지고 있던 문제점을 해결해주는 아이디어까지, 흠잡을 것 없어 보이는 ICO가 너무 많습니다.

모든 ICO가 성공해서 그들의 꿈을 이루고, 세상을 이롭게 한다면 참 좋겠지만, 현실은 그렇지 않습니다.
엄청나게 많은 수의 가상화폐들이 소리소문없이 사라지고, 때론 그저 사기인 경우도 많습니다.

수많은 ICO를 깊이 연구하여 옥석을 가려내는 것은 물론 좋지만, 너무 시간이 오래 걸립니다.
그런데도 한편으로는 엄청난 가치를 가진 가상화폐를 놓칠까 전전긍긍하게 되지요.

일상생활을 소홀히 할 정도로 가상화폐에 열중했다면, 잠시 손을 놓고, 생각해보시는 건 어떨까요?

투자의 이유는 무엇인가요?

'돈을 벌기 위해서 투자한다.'는 물론 좋은 대답이지만, 모든 ICO의 목표 중 하나는 돈을 버는 것입니다.
이 대답으로는 단 하나의 ICO도 걸러낼 수 없지요.

한 가지 대답을 구체화 시켜보세요.
'세상을 이롭게 한다.' - 너무 광범위하지만, 어느 정도의 가상화폐 들은 걸러낼 수 있을 것입니다.
단순히 귀여운 마스코트를 내걸거나, 다단계 형태의 가상화폐들은 투자하지 않게 되겠지요.
당연히 이런 가상화폐에는 투자하지 않으신다고요?
그렇다면 다행입니다만, 이런 형태의 가상화폐에 투자해서 '돈을 벌 수도' 있습니다.
빠르게 참여한다면 오히려 생각 이상으로 크게 벌 수도 있죠.
'돈을 벌기 위해서' 투자를 여태까지 해오셨다면, 이런 가상화폐들에 대해서도 꼭 고려하셨어야 합니다.

투자의 목적을 구체적으로 정할수록, 많은 백서들을 읽어볼 필요가 없어집니다.
목적에 맞지 않는 가상화폐들은 일단 배제하고 생각할 수 있으니까요.

구체화한 이유의 '가치'를 측정해보세요.

예를 들어, '전 세계의 송금 비용을 낮추는 데 기여하기 위해 투자한다.'가 투자의 이유라고 해보겠습니다.
그러면, 이 가상화폐의 최대 가치는 '전 세계의 송금 비용'이 되겠지요.
'전 세계의 송금 비용'은 물론 앞으로 커질 수도 있고, 작아질 수도 있지만 적어도 현시점에서 얼마인지 대강 측정 가능합니다.

발행되는 숫자 등으로 나누어 보면, 하나의 가상화폐가 얼마 정도의 가치를 얻을지 생각해볼 수 있지요.
여기에 포터의 5세력 모형을 이용하여 좀 더 생각해볼 수 있지만, 일단 여기에선 넘어가도 괜찮습니다.

왜냐하면, 우리의 돈은 한정되어 있고, 가장 큰 가치를 가진 가상화폐에만 투자해도 충분하기 때문이지요.

그 후에도 시간이 남으면, 스타트업을 평가하는 많은 방법을 사용해서 좀 더 심층적으로 ICO를 판단해볼 수 있습니다.

비록 이더리움 등 가상화폐의 성장이 눈부시긴 하지만, 이런 성장은 주식시장에서도 자주 있는 일입니다.
과거를 돌아보며 너무 억울해 하지 마시고, 미래의 가상화폐에 너무 큰 기대를 걸지 마세요.

This answer can not filter out a single ICO.

Please specify one answer.
'It will benefit the world.' - Too broad, but some virtual currency will be filtered out.
You will not simply put on a cute mascot, or you will not invest in multi-level virtual currency.
Of course you do not invest in these virtual currencies?
Fortunately, you can make money by investing in this type of virtual currency.
If you participate quickly, you can earn bigger than you think.
If you have invested so much in order to make money, you should have considered these virtual currencies as well.

The more you define the purpose of your investment, the more you will not need to read a lot of white papers.
You can exclude the virtual currencies that do not fit the purpose.

Measure the 'value' of the reason.

For example, I will say, "I will invest to contribute to lowering the worldwide remittance cost."
Then, the maximum value of this virtual currency will be the 'worldwide remittance cost'.
The 'remittance cost of the world' can be large or small in the future, but it can be roughly measured at least at present.

By dividing it into numbers of coins, you can think about how much a single coin's value will gain.
After that, you can think about using Porter's five-power model, but it's okay to skip over here.

Because our money is limited and we only need to invest in virtual currency with the greatest value.

If you have time left after that, you can use a number of methods to assess startups to further assess ICO.

Although growth of virtual money such as Bitcoin is remarkable, this growth is also common in the stock market.
Do not be too sick to look back, and do not expect too much of your future virtual currency.
