RE: Shiny sky from the grass' point of view
Nice how the little trees are positioned in the frame, keeps you wondering what is behind them: the sea perhaps. or something else?
That and the light make in mysteriously interesting.
what lens and camera did you use for this one?
These are actually quite big trees, the fisheye lens make them look smaller than the blades of grass, which indeed gives a strange impression.
It was on the top of Mont-Royal, in Montreal. With a higher point of view, the northern half of Montreal would have been visible in the photo. That would have been actually quite nice, however the "giant blades of grass" effect would have been lost.
It was done with a Sony Alpha 330 camera, with a Rokinon 8mm lens.
Thanks for your comment.
Nice, thanks for the extra info!
It might have been relevant to write such info in the post, I'll do that from now on.
Thanks for giving me this insight!
