Standing majestically in downtown Lhokseumawe, Aceh Province, Islamic Center or Almarkazul Islami Lhokseumawe presents a Middle Eastern feel in the fertile land of Aceh. The establishment of the Islamic Center revived our memories of the glorious history of the Islamic Empire of the Ocean Pasai (Ocean of Pase) which was recorded in history as the first Islamic kingdom in Indonesia.

The origin of the words Lhokseumawe is "Lhok" and "Seumawe". Lhok means in, bay, sea trough and Seumawe means circling water or the center and springs on the sea along the offshore Banda Sakti and its surroundings. Other information also mentions the name Lhokseumawe derived from the name Teungku namely Teungku Lhokseumawe, which was buried in the village of Uteun Bayi, the oldest village in Banda Sakti District.

Ujong Blang Beach was inaugurated in 2012 as one of the tourist destinations by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism. It's just that the beach, which has long been a recreational destination for the people of Lhokseumawe, North Aceh and the central region of Aceh, still looks innocent without the artistic touch of the architects. However, the atmosphere of the beach that has not been touched by human development is a feature of the purity of the natural atmosphere.

Stretching in Jeulikat Village, Blang Mangat District, Lhokseumawe, Jeulikat Reservoir transformed into a new tourist attraction in the city. Since a year ago, reservoirs that have formed naturally since decades ago have been busy talking. Well! If the weekend arrives, you will find humans scouring from behind the hills that embrace the area.
