Trial Case #1 - True Story - Egypt; Threatening
Date: 25th of February, 2018
Court: New Cairo Elementary Court
Type of Trial: Court of Second Degree (Court of Appeal) - Last Degree of Trials
Accusation: Threatening
Trial Parties: Accused is a Male while plaintiff is a female
The story begins when an Egyptian male gets to know this beautiful girl of almost the same age. A friend of his sister she was. As both of them were visitors to a fellow neighboring country where Egyptians have formed a small community to celebrate and meet on occasions.
Apart from the male party being married he fell for the opposite sex appeal and built a friendship which turned into an secret affair when they returned to Egypt a couple of months later. Apparently he was on a visit to his sister in the neighboring country. She decided to return to Egypt for him as they have committed to get engaged.
After their engagement they both agreed where it should escalate and that is where she started secretly visiting him in his house outside of Cairo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cairo). As both are Muslims and follow the Islamic Religion both have officially agreed to commit a sin (This is for explaining later on - not religious advice neither is it encouragement or hate towards a certain religion). As they had sexual intercourse on a regular basis she was being video-taped for it while she was not aware of it. Both deemed to get married in the future was the pulse behind taking a step forward and allowing the forbidden.
She filed a report against him including all her facebook messenger chat that contained information and messages convicting him of the accusation. The report contained files and screen-shots of the chat that contained sexual-pictures from her. He sent her images of herself while giving him sex and foreplay.
In her words from the investigation "I went to him several times and we had sexual intercourse and we were fine until he decided one day to reach out to me and call our engagement off and cancel our future plans, then he started threatening me when i ignored him after ditching me because all he wanted from me now was to please him" - "I went to a doctor and had a few surgeries to fix what was mine to give to a person i loved but he didn't respect our promise and then when he found out he started threatening to show the videos to my parents, friends, family and share it on social network to ruin my reputation" "I am now accusing him of doing that and i will provide the evidence that i have"
As investigations progressed the report was transfered to the competent authority to track IP addresses and track down if it was him who was committing the threatens that included paying him thousands of dollars and returning his clothes and his engagement ring. He was tracked down, confronted and he was transfered to the prosecution authority where he declined his threats.
As he was put on trial, he took a three years imprisonment sentence in absence, a few months later he was caught by law enforcement police (law enforcement is hard in Cairo/Egypt due to larger amounts of people compared to policemen).
When he appeared in court on the 25th of February the plaintiff appeared in court with a marriage certificate between them both and put the case to rest. Although i wondered why she doesnt have a marriage ring in her left hand, im sure she was compensated well even if the marriage was just a fake picture to the public to get her reputation back on track as he had ruined it for her between friends as he sent the video around.
The male was guilty and i sentenced him with the three years sentence he has took in first degree court but i have dismissed the execution of the penalty. As a result of the sentence if he commits any felony, misdemeanor or crime of any degree except traffic fines he will be sentenced to those three years in addition to the sentence issued in the other crime.
Justice proudly served on that case!
