RE: Randomness Teaches You To Be A Better Person

in #life7 years ago

Their loss, ours and your gain!

I once had an organization have the nerve to call me in multiple times for a job, get all the way to receiving an offer subsequent, then never heard from them (despite me contacting them to ask what the hell happened). Then later that year, their HR person referred me to another hiring manager for a different position, and even though I KNEW it would happen, I came in again for an interview for that position, got a second offer, and they also went radio silent after I accepted THAT position.

But I just chalked it up to dodging a bullet, twice. Any place that can't be professional dealing with their applicants in proportion to what they're asking from them in time, communication, and energy up to that point in the hiring process, is bound to be one that frustrates its own employees repeatedly with their stupidity as well.

TL;DR: some morons jerked me around in their hiring processes, which inadvertently led me to where I am now.
