Hello everyone. As some of you know our sister Nadia was expecting a baby due May of 2018. Unfortunatly, Nadia lost the baby and almost her life on Thanksgiving day.

She was in Seattle helping our parents due to our dad having to stay there for a very complicated heart surgery and long recovery. A couple days before Thanksgiving, Nadia was having cramps that were painful and wouldn't stop. She was taken to the emergency room at the hospital by our sister in law Elena and after an examination the doctor gave her medicine to stop the cramps/contractions and were very concerned about her skyrocketing blood pressure. They tried getting a rate of the babys heartbeat and coudln't find it. They sent her to get checked by an OB/GYN the following day and at the appointment it was confirmed that the baby no longer had a heart beat and had stopped growing at about 15 weeks (at this point Nadia's pregnacy was suppose to be about 19 weeks along.) They scheduled her to have the baby removed the following day.

The surgery was suppose to be fairly easy, strait forward, and about an hour in duration; it lasted 12 hours. Thursday morning during surgery it was discovered that Nadia was hemorrhaging and for some time the surgeon could not locate the area of bleeding. She lost 8 liters of blood and needed to be given 15 units of blood during the procedure. She would have not been with us if the surgeons didn't find the source of internal bleeding when they did (there was a point during the procedure when the operating doctor was desperate and called in a surgeon friend who just happen to be in the area for the hoiday. His surgeon friend rushed in to help as soon as he can and thankfully was able to locate the bleeding in time.)

The backup plan was that if the hemorrhage was not found in a certain amount of time they would procced by performing a hysterectomy on her in hopes to save her life. But our God is good and by his grace Nadia did not need a hysterectomy but did had to have an ovary removed due to the bleeding being found right by it.

At this point Nadia, her husband and two little boys are slowly recovering from this unexpected surgery as well as the loss of their precious unborn infant.

Today (11.29.2017) Nadia and Cameron sat down with a finacial advisor in relation to everything that has happened to Nadia and were able to get a bigger picture of what all of this will cost them. Even though they do not have insurance they were well prepared for having a baby but the cost of the surgery and everything is way more than what they were prepared for. So far bills have been added up to $34,000, and that's not including the anesthegiologist fees.

As you can imagine, having one thing go wrong after the other unexpectedly is burden enough already, not speaking of how one will pay for such an emergency. We thank God for saving her life through the amazing skills of a doctor and surgeon , but they now face a mountain of medical bills due to all this happening. We are asking for any amount that can be donated. All proceeds will go to the Perry's to pay off the emergency medical bills. We also ask that you keep them first an foremost in your prayers as well. We believe our God is good. He is a God of grace, healing, mercy, justice, and miracles. Thank you everyone who is willing and may God bless you hundred fold in return!
