Life goes on!!!!!'
"Congratulations, you have been admitted to study urban and regional planning in ladoke akintola university of technology in ogbomoso", this was d statement I was joyous about then, about 6 years ago. It was a joyous occasion to be admitted in a university, not knowing the challenges ahead. Day after day I concluded my programme from this wonderful university in Nigeria, though with a lot of strike every semester. Moving from Akure to ogbomoso, learning a new culture, tradition and character of life in Ogbomoso is not easy. But thanks to Jah for the life given to go through all these.
People thought you go to school, to acquire certificates to earn money only but what of the knowledge and understanding ones need to acquired from higher institutions. That was my motives then but later changed, not only money, additionally knowledge and understanding.
Imagine, spending 4months for learning rather than 9 months for a session, this is because of frequent strike up and down. Apart from strike , un-conductive environment for learning like no enough space, table or chair in classes, unfriendly lectures etc.
Average, unreliable and poor performance is this Unverisity.
All thanks to Jah despite all these. Help me rejoices guy for a successful programme despite all these challenges.
