Meaning of life
After we have developed a consciousness, we are constantly questioning ourselves. Why are we alive? What is the reason for living, just to die at the end?
Simple
To live, means to make the most of it
There is no real meaning to it, what is important is self-realization.
Are you satisfied with the way you are living? If not, what do you have to change to achieve that mindset?
Many people are too lazy or simply accept their current struggle. A person like that will never feel pride.
Don't want to change your ways?
Just
Have a look at the pyramide of needs made by Maslow
Work your way up
Never stop on your path, continue fulfilling your needs.
You cannot satisfy your need of safety if you are hungry, thirsty or tired.
A healthy body = a healthy mind
Your body needs nutrients to work, give it what it wants so you have the energy to climb the ladder.
Safety
No person is happy while living in constant danger, fear of being murdered.
Living in a battlefield for example does not bring joy. Fear will always be a hindrance.
Relationship / Social bonds
No one is happy as an outsider, we are social creatures, that is why we need eachother
There is almost nothing scarier than loneliness.
No one to talk to, no one to listen, having conversations.
Relationships makes us happy, supporting one another, comforting someone in pain.
I can go on, talking about it for hours and hours without end
But it is for you to decide to remain in your current position or if you want to change anything.
(If you are happy with the way you are, keep at it)
But that's that for me, just wanted to post what I have learned in class.
PS: Do whatever you want to achieve self-actualization
