RE: Herbal Hair Wash/Rinse

in #life7 years ago

So far, I am finding it best to still follow up with my homemade vinegar (I dilute it about 1 part vinegar to 3 or 4 parts water in a squirt bottle to apply to my hair). I do like the smell and the over all result, but after washing with it a couple of days, it seemed to leave a residue that made my hair feel dirty, so next time I did a follow up with the vinegar and it was much better. I think next time, I will just use all these same herbs and make a vinegar out of them.

I'm not sure if my teenage daughter would allow vinegar near her hair. ;-)

Haha, well, I will say that the homemade herbal and fruit vinegars smell way better than the store bought stuff and once the hair is dry, the only scent it leaves behind is whatever fruit, flower, or herb was used in it.

I'll have to check, do you have any recipes on your blog?

Not yet, but I will soon, I will be making a video of me starting up my first batch for 2017 of my floral vinegar. I will also write a blog to go with it. I am just waiting for my lavender and roses to bloom. :)
