How to Keep Her!

Why is it that we have trouble keeping her after we start dating her? Now think about that and just follow along with me for a moment here.

As we see, time and time again, women are continually portrayed as objects to create sexual tension. I mean come on, even Hardees puts strikingly gorgeous women eating a burger that weighs a pound in their commercials!

Side note: I hate to burst your bubble, but that woman doesn't regularly eat those hamburgers, I promise you that!

It feels as though, all of this imagery, greatly influences our opinions of how we choose our counterparts.

I think that the way we gentlemen have grown up, intrinsically creates a huge disconnect in how we perceive what it takes to keep a woman. So how do we fix this issue? I believe it starts with the five love languages, learning hers, and utilizing those to keep her googly eyed.

So what exactly are those love languages? Glad you asked, let's examine what they are.

Affirmation
This is the power to affirm to your lady friend that she is amazing! I know it sounds simple, but think back to when the last time you gave her empowerment through words. If she is someone who likes to hear she is great, and you think she is, why not continually let her know?!?

Service
Does your lady friend like to see the promises you have made put into action? A woman who likes the service love language is just that type. Someone who doesn't need you to speak to her about your love, but show her how important she is to you. Cook her that meal she enjoys, draw her a bubble bath after a hard day, or fix her car that is making noises if you can (this is the one that worked for me).

Gift
Do little surprises make your lady swoon? Women who speak this language like the occasional note left by the door or that her favorite vase always has fresh flowers. The act of giving is what attracts them, and it doesn't always have to be that expensive piece of jewelry.

Time
For some ladies, it isn't about gifts or compliments. Some really just want to be next to you as much as humanly possible. Simple as that! If your lady is someone who appreciates your time, then make time for date nights.

Touch
I mean, come on, who doesn't enjoy a great back massage from the hands of the one you love? Ladies who appreciate affection, need the appropriate touch from you to show them you care. Simply lock fingers with her, or kiss her forehead. These little things will make her swoon!

As you can see, none of these languages are very difficult, but we have to listen to our amazing women and learn what they like in order to communicate our love. This can go both ways too, because I promise the more you speak her language, the more she will speak yours in return.!
