LOVE: UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE
We are all different and we all have different ways of expressing love. It is said that there are 5 languages of love.
Words
Words have awesome power. Verbal praise, or words of thanks are powerful communicators of love. We express affection by verbalizing words of encouragement, support, affection, congratulations, praise, kindness, or humility towards others.
Spend quality time
"Quality time" means giving someone all the attention. It does not mean sitting on the couch watching television together but talking or eating, enjoying the company of others, listening and being listened to, without rushing or other distractions.
Receive gifts
At the heart of love is the spirit of offering.
A gift is something that you can hold in your hand and say: "Look, I was thinking about you" or "I remembered you". You must think of someone to give him a gift. The gift itself is a symbol of that thought. It does not matter if it costs money. The important thing is that you think of a certain person.
Service acts
Cooking, shopping, emptying the dishwasher or vacuuming are all acts of service. They require thought, planning, time, effort and energy. If they are done with a positive spirit, they are truly expressions of love.
Physical contact
It is the simplest and most direct form of communication. Holding hands, hugging, kissing, caressing, touching, having sex; they are ways of transmitting and receiving love.
For some people, physical contact is their main love language. Without that, they do not feel completely loved. I would say that no matter how, love has to be expressed. Some prefer physical contact, others are experts with words and others give things away. No two people are the same and there are no two equal ways to love ... THAT IS THE CHARM OF LOVE.
