You simply can't know. Cash out little amount sometimes so you have at least your investments back. I usually cash some amounts of profit to do fun stuff off. Usually just small amounts of steem I invested in bitcoin. And then I go out for dinner or book my self a nice trip under € 200.
I like your take. I have taken my original investment out of a few cryptos that are up over 100%. I'm just in with house money at that point.
