Exercising regularly has a number of beneficial effects on the body's hormones. Physical activity helps to regulate the levels of excess estrogen, insulin and cortisol, which are hormones responsible for weight gain. Additionally, exercise helps to stimulate the production of growth hormone, testosterone and progesterone, which help keep the body fit. Exercise also increases the amount of endorphin hormones in the body, reducing anxiety and pain. Furthermore, exercise can help regulate the rate of protein synthesis in all cells of the body. Lastly, exercise can help to regulate blood sugar throughout the day. Clearly, exercise has a positive effect on hormone levels and overall health.
