Every song has its story. We make one up even when the original is lost to time, like some automatic human response to seeing faces in the clouds or anthropomorphising animals.

This song, RING, is about calling out or receiving, missing and ignoring, answering and retaliating. Its part of the fairytale that we all weave about our lives as we hurtle through the void. Sometimes the stories are the only things holding up our way of life. The whole album this song is from is about stories, with hidden personal messages that no-one will ever understand but upon hearing causes people to use their own lives as the template for a new story, filling in the blanks with personal details regardless of the truth, personifying elements I put little thought into and missing the open wounds that I made with my rusty scalpel.

I dont expect you to understand my cryptic tale, just fill in the blanks with whatever story you like :)

I hope you enjoy the song, listen thru your headphones.

I do like the song; Did only listen to it through my laptop speakers; Need to get my headphones out. Somehow the track is spooky. You call it "Ring", interestingly I was watching part of the movie Rings yesterday night which enhances the spooky-ness of this track :)

Thank you :) It is quite spooky isnt it :D

If I could mix better I might be able to make it sound nice even on simple lappy speakers. I highly recommend giving it a try on earphones or better yet, some larger over ear headphones.

Just listened to it with my headphone; Well pretty ok earplugs. WOW, bass is tremendous and I really like the mood as well. Do you perform as well? DJ or live act? I love techno, and other forms of electronic music and I think such piece adapted a bit would do great as an act... Not really the same, but similar mood is for instance HVOB, from Vienna here and here.

Im not into live gigs although there is a little bit out there. Iv plenty of other electronic songs on my Bandcamp although my other fave songs on that particular album are "The Trouble with Dreams" and "We all fall down".

That HVOB stuff is awesome! Thanks for putting me onto that :)

So glad you posted 'Ring' which led me to revisit that magic album "FaeryTale".
I'm also very pleased that I downloaded it, so can listen in majestic .FLAC or .WAV, so much more enthralling :)

Cheers. I know what u mean, streaming never does a song any good. I found Bandcamp to be the nicest sounding out of the lot so far.
