Participation. If you're active in Hip Hop and you're here on Steemit then you're already doing it! The growth of Steemit, DTube and DSound is on the rise. It starts with each of our contributions right here. Contributions like the Rap Challenge, Beat Battle League, The Cut, Record Pool, Termite's Lo-Fi MC Challenge, SML Challenge, SMA, Spitefire, and everyone else contributing to the #hiphop hashtag.

Many local communities already have thriving Hip Hop scenes. Steemit is the perfect place to start connecting all our communities, through existing & developing Blockchain technologies. In a way, we are all Pioneers of Hip Hop on the Blockchain, because that's exactly what we're doing!

To support our first Hip Hop The Blockchain initiative we request the Power of your Participation.
Contribute to a Crowd-Sourced Video Project of Hip Hop on the Blockchain by representing your real-world Block.
The silence in the videos below is for the needed static shots. We're are going to blend all of the video entries we receive from you together and stylize is in a blockchain video montage to be included in the final official music video for HipHop The Blockchain.
The video entries sent by the community from around the world will be compiled and comprised of everyone's Block linked to a chain of transitions, resulting in a montage suitable to become... a Music Video? More to come on that....
Call To Action
Submit Your Video
1- Put your Block on the Blockchain with a short video of you standing... on Your Block
2- Record your videos in landscape mode as a selfie or with a stick/gimbal
3- 30 seconds including your introduction and project mention at the start of your video
Format
Embed a YouTube link or use DTube for your Video and make it Downloadable if possible
Deadline
Video submission will close on February 16th 2018
All Submission Posts should include the #hiphoptheblockchain tag and also appear in a comment on the Official Submissions Posts on February 16th just so we have everything organized :)
