Balinese culture, faith and tradition

I am blessed to have travelled to Bali, Indonesia to attend an international conference. While exploring the place one distinct and peculiar sight caught my interest. All stores big and small have this composing of flowers, herbs , etc. It is placed at store's entrance. It has such a refreshing aroma soothing your senses. I believe this is part of Balinese culture, faith and tradition.

In my country, vendors use a certain type of container ( an amusing one, I tell you!) where they put their daily sales. They believe it brings them good luck because more buyers will come to patronize their products. I will try to post a picture of that container next time.
