Pakistan's Robin Hood food Army

There is a new breed of giving heroes in Pakistan in the form of a Robin Hood Food Army. 

To date, some 500,00 people in poverty have been helped by donated meals from local restaurants who have been encouraged to support their own communities through this initiative.  The food ranges from humble snacks to five-star meals from Pakistan’s top hotels and restaurants.

Police help boy with cerebral palsy complete bucket list journey

Sidney Cook, is a 9 year old boy who suffers from cerebral palsy and is wheel chair bound. His dream adventure was to to visit to very Australia’s northernmost tip at Cape York. 

It was a dream that almost didn't happen when both his mum and dad suffered injuries.

Anxious, his parents sent out a plea asking for help.  The local police responded in style with acting Senior Constable Talina O’Brien and his 4 police officers carrying the boy by hand in a specially bought chair by a local resident and reached at the tip together. 

“It was an awesome day for all of us and an absolute privilege to be a part of this journey,” said Constable O’Brien in a statement. “Sidney might be paralyzed from the waist down but he has a massive heart and an even bigger smile. He told us that he loves soccer and music but nothing compares to adventuring with his mum and dad.”

Adorable act of kindness as a little girl gives her meal to a homeless man

"My girl right here, I love her to bits," you can hear dad say in the video as he watches his daughter, Ella, spontaneously give away her food to someone homeless outside of the restaurant.

She looks so content and happy when she returned to the table and maybe for a little while someone homeless felt a little sense of community and a touch of human kindness.

Costa Rica has gone 150 straight days using 100% renewable electricity

For 150 days so far this year, Costa Rica's electricity has come entirely from renewable sources zeroing in on their ambitious goal to be carbon neutral within a few years.

"We are a small country with great goals!" ICE wrote on Facebook. "We remain committed to the goal of carbon neutrality for 2021."
