RE: What's Wrong Wit Yer News: Youtube now shows disclaimer for RT stating "funded in whole or in part by the Russian government" but does not show such disclaimer on Presumably State Department Channel
I went to watch a video that got a man in the UK arrested for hate speech, a hilarious video of an anti-Semitic dog, and they had a disclaimer about it being offensive that I had to click on to watch. I've never seen that before. Let youtube censor and do all this shit, better for dtube.
idk about censor, it is a private company, sure it is anti competitive and unethical, but I dont think the state's claws should interfere.
youtube is censoring things and they are working for the state, that is certainly censorship. Internet utilities should be regulated just as other public accommodations are. If you can't stop someone from eating at your diner why should you be allowed to stop them from posting on your website?
