52 Baboon Monkeys Escaped Paris Zoo....

Dozens of baboon monkeys fled their barn at the Paris Zoo on Friday, prompting the authorities to evacuate the park and begin a campaign to search for it with the help of police.

Park officials said in a statement they had issued a warning after an employee of a monkey was surprised inside a corridor.

Reports said the number of runaway monkeys was approaching 50.

Officials said garden staff and police officers began a search for four monkeys that were still free. They pointed out that citizens did not see any of them in public areas.
