The sleeping cat 2

in #payitforward5 years ago

Hello Folks! This is the continuation. I know. I would have figured out and reached out to the folks who made steempeak to figure out what went wrong. I only had 4 hours sleep last night and, I still have a lot of things to do. So, consider this my lazy way of managing this issue.

Roll a blue clay.

Twist.

Make several pieces.

20200113_183239.jpg

Repeat until you'll have something that looks like this

Roll out another piece of yellow clay.

Attach to the cat.

Cut the extra whisker. I think no self respecting cat would like to sport an extra long one.

20200113_184859.jpg

Roll out a ball of pink clay.

20200113_184939.jpg

Roll out another piece of clay and start winding it on the ball.

Roll out another pink clay

Then attach it to the ball to have something that looks like this. Make another purple ball.

20200113_185417.jpg

Roll out a white clay.

I added this because I want you guys to see that even when I am making something, I really change my mind right there and then. The problem, the white clay clung on the "nose."

Done.

On the white clay, I just added some tiny detail on the nose.20200113_190724.jpg

So cute! I will have my daughter look at this one... I think she's likely to copy...

she's more than welcome to do that!

Very intricate work. Well done.

By the way, what was the problem with the upload?

it uploads but it does not show the picture in the preview.

thank you.I am transitioning back on to polymer clay and , Yes I may do things which are longer and more complicated.I am even thinking of using mixed media.

"it uploads but it does not show the picture in the preview."

Then I think I might be right. Those images are bigger than the others, aren't they? I'm willing to bet they are 11 MB, 12 MB, something like that... You have several options to fix that. Downsize them a bit, save them with a lower quality, for example.

thanks Trin.I will do that next time.

Yeah. I can't really do anything about that at that point. still, I hope it looks like a "part" of the nose. hahahaha
