A Tuscan Countryside

I was driving around Tuscany basically lost, looking for things to photograph. The skies were kind of hazy that day and didn't expect there would be a colorful sunset. I came around the hills from a road I don't really know and frankly, I didn't know where as I headed either when this scene materialized. I didn't have time find a good place to shoot so I set up my tripod along the road to take this photo.

Including the powerlines. SMH.

Have you been to Tuscany?

Wow! I have never travelled through regional Italy, only been to the major cities. This photo is a compelling argument to get out there next time!

The wine region is epic :)

The colours are amazing, great capture. This photo vaguely reminds me of the photo I took in the mountains a few years ago in Poland

Poland my second favourate place

I didn't take pictures in Poland. I taught English there instead :)

That's so cool! Sounds like you have a lot of valuable travels :)

Poland is beautiful

thanks god you tooked that photo, is pretty beautiful, i can enjoy it

With that story, it's a well-captured photo. As @dandida says the colors are beautiful and contrasting. It looks like it was going to be a cold Tuscan night. Hopefully, you had some good Italian food to warm you up!
Becca hasn't been to Tuscany, she wants to see more of Italy as she has only visited Rome. Sam lived in Italy for a few years. In Tuscany, he has been to Florence, Pisa and a family friend's villa between Siena and Arezzo (can't remember the name of the village).

Italy is the only country, so far, where I've been to over 7 times :) It's the food and wine...yeah...and the coffee and the rustic villages...well, everything!

We know what you mean and it is only a matter of when, and not if we visit Italy again.

Yes this is what happens in landscape photography. Always some surprise. The colours are amazing. (I think a little photoshop to remove that power line will make this even better)

i was just going to crop it out..but alas!
