Nature Photography Series a Day in the Park with Nature & my Canon Rebel
These geese were in William Byrd park this afternoon but not for long.
The park has actually hired a Co. who has dogs come come run them all off.
That seems crazy to me, people do come here everyday and feed the geese and ducks.
There used to be at least two hundred or so wild ducks there and the park is so big
and has several little ponds- lakes area.
At least half of the ducks are gone from what I've seen today compared this past summer.
I hope they find a home somewhere, it's sad to see nature being thrown away or pushed out of it's
natural habitat. With so much construction going on in the world where they are tearing down trees and
so many animals and birds are displaced.
I caught this unique duck today as well....all of these photos are unedited by my Canon Rebel.
I caught another pair of geese but totally different lighting, darker with a
sharper glare. I love getting a good photo, to grasp the moment and take it
with you to share with everyone to enjoy what you saw.
I believe you have to shoot the story. It's your story to tell.
You decide what will be in it and how it all folds together to make you feel
whatever the photo is making you feel.
This man in the back ground was a homeless man in the park feeding some pigeons and smaller duck his bread.
This is a genuinely , nice and kind-hearted man to share with his last food or limited food with them.
It was touching to see that. There are good people in the world.
Everyone is going through something in life.
Do not assume anything about another. You may be completely wrong in what your'e thinking and the
situation or person could feel the opposite of what you think.
Nature is good for you. Einstein said it best!
"Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better."

Photos are beautiful. Not to be critical, but take a look at your text, the formatting appears weird. Like sentencess are broken up in multiple lines when they are not suppose to, etc. or maybe that's how you like it. Great post.
Thanks, Yes, I am definitely a Photographer not exactly a writer, lol! I need to start posting from Word too, that will help. :-)
great post, great commentary , four thumbs up <3
Thanks so much! :-)
Wow..the beauty of God always seen in nature..nice photo.upped
Birds and horses are my two favorite creations of nature. Beautiful and smart. I have had chickens and ducks when I lived in Maryland. They gave my family eggs to eat and our huge Norwegian duck loved to play with the dog.
Thank you for this really neat post and the photos. We look forward to seeing more of your creativity in the future.
Have a great week and Steem On Miss Lady!
Thanks! Maryland is nice, I lived there long ago. Having chickens sounds great...I think there are too many feral cats around where I am now to have any though, lol!
