This is Cascade Mountain, and in the forefront is Snow Peak, obstructing our view. Great place to go hiking by the way.

A shadow from a cloud or adjacent mountain?
That would be Snow Peak partially obstructing our view of Cascade Mountain.
I'm an outdoors person and like these pictures
Both shots are great but I think I prefer the color one in this case
