Thank you for your positive feedback. Great to hear you have started photography, it's a wonderful way of expressing yourself. Landscape photography is actually not particularly hard, but it usually involves carrying a bit of equipment on long hikes and at very early or late hours, which is why it isn't done much by amateur photographers. Ansel Adams did that with a large format camera and a bag full of film holders. You should take a look at the size some of those contraptions to really understand what that means.
While making this series, I have come to realise that photographers are surprisingly good at making profound quotes.
I totally agree with you about the power of images. Some of my favourite images (such as Snake River and the Tetons) simply stun me over and over again, even though I have seen them countless times.
