Whistler for the Weekend: Health Controversies
This weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the St. Paul's Emergency Medicine conference in Whistler. This is me during break time:
What a wonderfully informative experience! The vast amount of knowledge and practice pearls I gained in such a short period of time will really help me in tough situations in the ER.
Not to mention the food was fantastic! :D
One of the most interesting talks came from Timothy Caulfield:
He has a Netflix show called "A User's Guide to Cheating Death" which just aired. With his expertise, finally there will be some sound, evidence-based information on the media that hopefully will resonate with people. Topics such as vaccinations, cupping, fad diets were covered that I don't really have the time to go into right now but would be happy to discuss with anybody if they'd like. :)
Also, if anybody has a chance to visit Whistler, I highly recommend it!
Love and peace,
Nina <3
