SEASONS OF LIFE
Our days and times
As breathing sand,
Are tips of time in minutes past.
We live a die-hard season,
To have a new refreshing.
Times we battled with sunny days,
Skin oozed its fluid
Cause of fierce Sun rays.
We screamed and yearn
For divine coolness
To quench the heaty thirst
That rule our land, feed our crops.
We lived and survived the thorns.
Today, is a wet day.
Yesterdays of dried,hot grounds.
Are past stories to tell future seeds.
Yesterday is a song to sing
To the ears of wards
Scattering the linings of rain droplets.
We cherish this day,
Though with its flaws-
For like a stolen bird lost in the prison,
Are we tucked in small, great mansions.
Tomorrow is here.
These are days to freeze up.
Winter is here.
We talk our talk, walk the walk
Watch the clock, tick to the tock.
As the thick cold lock our bodies
In large great duvets,
We hide our skins in loads of fabrics.
This season of dry coldness;
We would box up
Like rare presents from Santa.
We would sit with heat,
Crave and swallow warmth,
All to keep body and soul friendly.
We live in a cycle.
In a rolling ball,
Where seasons are born to die,
Yet, they die to be born.
Seasons of life!
