To those of us that take Grammar seriously, the common incorrect usage of "loose" vs "lose" sounds like nails on a chalkboard. It's time to take your writing to the next level. Are you using the right word?

Lose

  • Definition - a verb meaning to be deprived of or to cease ownership
  • Example - "Never invest more money in cryptocurrency than you can afford to lose."

Loose

  • Definition - an adjective describing something that does not fit well
  • Example - "His pants are always falling down on him and are therefore too loose."
