এঁকে নে রঙধনুর ছায়া
মেয়ে তুই ভালবাসতে পারিস
মেয়ে তুই ছড়িয়ে দে মায়া।
মেয়ে তোর বুক পাঁজরে
এঁকে নে অথৈ জলপ্রপাত
মেয়ে তুই চাইতে পারিস আলো
জীবনে ঘনায় যখন আঁধার।
মেয়ে তোর পথের বাঁকে
বিছিয়ে রাখ আলোর রেণু
মেয়ে তোর সকল পথে
কেউ থাক, বাজাক সুখের বেণু।

মানুষ দেখতে চাও
তবে দৃষ্টির বাইরে নয়
তাকে খুঁজো আপন অন্তরে।
পৃথিবীর বিখ্যাত চিত্রে
কিংবা রূপোলী পর্দায় নয়
তাকে পাবে তোমার পাশে
অসুখে যে তোমার সেবা করে।
যে তোমার খুশিতে উজ্জ্বল
সদ্য জ্বলা প্রদীপের মতো
যে তোমার সুখে খুশি
তারচে সুন্দর কেউ নাই এই ধরনীতে।
