Prabhas to shoot for 20-min long chase sequence for Saaho

Prabhas' Saaho is surely one of the most-awaited projects as fans would get to see their Amarendra Baahubali in a new avatar. The filmmakers had promised high octane action sequences and for the same, the entire team is, reportedly, heading to Dubai to shoot a chase sequence.

After Baahubali, everybody has their eyes on Prabhas’s next project Saaho, which was announced earlier this year. The filmmakers had announced that the film will have never-seen-before action sequences, and it seems they are surely going to keep their promise as we have just got to know that the film is going to boast of a 20-min long chase sequence for which Prabhas is following a strict workout regime.

The multilingual film will apparently see Prabhas pull off a 20-minute chase sequence. The scene will, reportedly, be shot near Burj Khalifa, among other destinations in Dubai. The only other Bollywood film to have been shot at Burj Khalifa was Anees Bazmee’s Welcome Back (2015).

And just not that, the sequence would be choreographed by Hollywood action choreographer Kenny Bates, who is known for his films like Transformers (2007) and Die Hard (1988).
In fact, Mid-day reports that Kenny Bates’ team is making sure to prep-up Prabhas for the chase. “His physical preparation involves cardiovascular training, weight training, and plyometric obstacle races, all of which will help him pick up the moves easily,” a source told Mid-day.
Saaho’s first look was released on the birthday of rebel star Prabhas, making everyone excited and curious about the film. Apart from Prabhas, the film will star Shraddha Kapoor as the leading lady and Neil Nitin Mukesh as the anti-hero. Both the Bollywood actors mark their Tollywood debut with this film.
Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho is scheduled for release in 2018.
