Previous Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele trusts feedback of Zinedine Zidane has been unjustifiable.

Zinedine Zidane does not should be reprimanded regardless of Real Madrid's poor frame, as indicated by Claude Makelele.

Madrid won LaLiga last season yet are fourth in the table after 21 coordinates this term, sitting 19 focuses behind adversaries Barcelona, who top the association.

Zidane acknowledges his destiny could come down to a last-16 Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain, the Frenchman looking to win the competition for the third year in succession.

Los Blancos' frame has seen Zidane's future gone under extreme examination yet Makelele, now in control at Belgian First Division A side Eupen, has shielded his previous partner.

"The treatment that Zidane is given has been out of line," Makelele said. "In football, the triumphs are overlooked too rapidly.

"I realize that he will recoup, once in a while we call each other basically to energize each other.

"He is as great a mentor as he was a player. He has an indistinguishable esteems from he did on the pitch; he's a pioneer and a specialist. He never covers up and he takes the greater part of his duties.

"Not every person can enable players to like he has. That is the reason Zizou is an extraordinary mentor. What he has done in a few years with Real Madrid, no other mentor on the planet has done."
