Today's Motivational Quote: Monday February 19, 2018

With today's quote I’d like to ask you to ponder why you are doing anything, including blogging?

Are you motivated principally by money?

“ The monkeys solved the puzzle simply because they found it gratifying to solve puzzles. They enjoyed it. The joy of the task was its own reward.”

Daniel H. Pink

Earning money can be very motivating but should it be our prime motivation?

Do you enjoy what you’re doing? Do you love creating content for the Steem blockchain?

If you do you’re doing well and any income that you derive will be a huge bonus!

Thanks for stopping by. Now let's get busy succeeding!

Found your blog as you'd recently commented on one of my posts and I love the idea of quote of the day, following to see the rest :)

Personally I've struggled with this for years, outside of Steemit. I have always believed money should never be a motivating factor and I definitely think that it's important to forget about the money side of Steem. In life however I'm starting to wish I'd been a little more money-focussed before now. It's not everything but it certainly makes life less stressful! I think somewhere in the middle there's a nice balance!

" I think somewhere in the middle there's a nice balance!"

Good balanced viewpoint! I find that if we find joy in our work and try and help others it seems to work out somehow.

Love your photos by the way!

Seems like being balanced is the trick to almost everything in life! Shame it's so hard to do most of the time!

Thanks! Really appreciate that :)

This is something interesting to answer because in these type of post we write an decorative answer usually, like my first motivation is not money and i am doing this because of passion for blogging and it gives happiness to me because i can communicate with new people. But, if you think from deeper aspect, then you will get an real answer means, it's practical thing that without money we can't process our day to day activities till you are living in an commercial world, i have used commercial world word because still there are places in the world where everything runs without money and they still continue the exchange system like (Barter System). And let me ask one thing, and this question is for me also, if there were no rewards on Steemit Platform then would you invest same efforts on the Platform, i will answer no, because that's practical, you are putting your true efforts and time because you are getting the rewards, for example, if YouTube Monetization will be disabled for forever then, in my opinion only limited people will create video content. So in my opinion both have equal importance means, enjoyment of work and strengthing an community and also monetary rewards and that's the truth in my opinion. Thanks for sharing this post with us. 🙂

Stay Blessed.

Hello, what you say is very true. Happy day..!

Thank you so much. 🙂

Stay Blessed.

"So in my opinion both have equal importance means, enjoyment of work and strengthing an community and also monetary rewards and that's the truth in my opinion. "

A good honest and balanced view!

Thank you so much. 🙂

Enjoy what you do and everything will follow. What i love in steemit is not about the reward,it is just a bonus.Being here in steemit made me share my thoughts and ideas which makes me gain friends. With out friends here in steemit is boring but knowing that there are some people waiting for your ideas to be shared are worth it.Steemit indeed changed me much. And im glad that im part of the community. Each of us must be glad for that.

What a nice answer and a lovely way of viewing things!

Great question to medidate on and that relates with our purposes on life. I would say love in first place is more important, as well as family, then friends and health and after a nice job and money. I think everybody likes money or better saying, the things that money permits to buy, but its not the main thing, i wouldn't change the man i love for another man that is richer for example. Money as a important part on our lifes of course but the are feelings and things that it can't buy ;)

Nice expressions. Thanks!

I enjoy steemit because the content its a lot better than facebook and i have a bigger will to participate even tough in the last couple of days i haven't been posting. Sometimes is a bit hard to know what to write about, but i do enjoy reading articles by other steemians and that is one of the reasons that i come here to the platform. Money is important but its not everything ;)

It is usually a fun and friendly place!

I join steemit because my friend told me it was a good way to make some money, improve my writing in english and being part of a very helpfull community. At the moment these are my goals, but i'm still very new so maybe in few months it will change :)

seems to me a well balanced approach!

Money, pleasure, fun, the human being is driven by them and its part of life. In my case, the main reason on the beginning was money, but i found here a nice community and i really enjoy participating. Right now, besides the steemit project i have a project to collect and publish a book with jokes based on my posts on steemit.

Corny joke about monkeys

Question: How do you catch a monkey?
Answer: Climb a tree and act like a banana!

Love your project and your jokes!

To be honest i quit using fb or any other social media platform i used to when I started using steemit. It is probably the first time in years that i enjoy posting and day by day i become more creative. While in other platforms it seemed like a task lately...
Steemit is revolution. Creating and making profit at the same time?like a dream come true

Great comment and a wise change!

I remembered Cesar from the planet of the apes. when the monkeys put together a puzzle

The main thing is to enjoy life and family in a few words "know how to live" but we must recognize that we live in a world where money is indispensable and nobody can deny it.

Nice today's Quote

a balanced reply!
