KKK Grand Cyclops: "Racism Don’t Exist!... I Was Angry at My Mama!"

in #racism6 years ago

LAST TWO SEGMENTS, JUN 5: A man named Clayton of Jasper, Texas, says he was a Grand Cyclops in the KKK. He was told to start listening to Jesse, and he now sees that racism doesn't exist. For years his group said they weren't racist, that they just didn't like bad behavior of black people. He protests and tells people to "talk to your daddy" and "get right with yo mama," but doesn't wear the mask (or hood) the way Antifa do, the children of the lie. He tells people of color they can be honorary members, and even Jesse can have a black robe and be a member. He says it's amazing Jesse gets along with everybody. Jesse explains he forgave his mother and father, so he no longer has anger. Clayton didn't know it, but admits, "I was angry at my mama for years." His parents were old school Southerners. She tried to run the household, as his daddy drank a little too much. His grandaddy fought in the Civil War, and drank to deal with it, so it was passed down to the generations. So his mother was controlling on the boys. His daddy died from alcohol, and he had to forgive him too. He went to his gravesite and cried. He realized his father didn't want to be that way; circumstances pushed him that direction, and he didn't know better. It took him awhile but he "forgived" his mother, who's now 85 or so ("way, way old"). He said he used to listen to Rev. Jesse Jackson, and he doesn't like that guy. Jesse puts him on hold for break, but coming back he had us on mute! And it was nearly the end of the show.

Lastly we went to caller Christian from Las Vegas, whom Jesse'd talked to a few weeks before. He said Jesse was on-point and wise in telling him to forgive his mother. He said he took on her "feminine" traits of anxiety, bitterness, passive-aggression. When he said he was sorry for holding it against her, she didn't get it but feigned understanding — she has guilt. Jesse urged him not to take the guilt from her but let her go through it.
