Pork Tenderloin
INGREDIENTS
two (1 1/2 pound) pork tenderloins
two tablespoons light soy sauce
two tablespoons hoisin sauce
one tablespoon sherry
one tablespoon black bean sauce
one and half teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
one and half teaspoons packed brown sugar
one clove garlic
half teaspoon sesame oil
one pinch Chinese five-spice powder
PROCESS
Add tenderloins in a shallow glass dish. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sherry, black bean sauce, ginger, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and five-spice powder. Add marinade over pork, and turn to coat. Cover, and refrigerate for at least two hours or up to twenty four hours.
Bake pork in preheated oven for thirty to thirty five minutes, or to desired doneness. Let stand for ten minutes, and then cut diagonally into thin slices.
