I have Worked in the restaurant industry most of my adult life, I have worked as a dishwasher, I sauté cook, food prep cook, a bartender, a catering with her, and right now I work in a casual dining restaurant. I have a work a lot of long shifts and struggle to keep my skin from appearing oily. I have ance periodically and I’m pushing thirty, so I try to use products that are oil free, moisturizing and anti aging.

I don’t specifically use this one all the time, it was under ten bucks at Walmart and it’s a good oilfree daily moisturizer, with a 35sph. I always wear some kind of daily oil free moisturizer underneath my make up. It keeps my skin from overdrying in the winter and that sph is to slow down the wrinkles.

Aloe is a great because it nourishes your skin with vitamins, it puts a protective barrier on your skin and it can soothe irritated or burned skin. It helps fight acne and aging. As it drys it does tighten and firm your skin, I typically put on moisturizer afterwards. On really hot days, especially if I’m on the patio, I’ll just use aloe. I tried anti shines, I personally have seen minimal to no difference.

I found this mask for four dollars, it smells nice, made my skin soft. I used it after the dual mask scrub sometimes for super soft skin. It’s a leave on mask, so you would use it like the aloe. Cactus has natural sph.

This is a great 2 in one for four bucks. I am a sucker for a good clay mask and when you rinse it off it’s a scrub.

I started using astringent again this year, it’s witchazel, usually I buy the one with rose water. It kills the bacteria in your face that cause acne. That’s primarily why I use it, but witchazel has a variety of medical uses for skin, so I add it to other things.
I am currently working on my own skin care products, for now these are some of the ones I like to use on a budget. Trust me, nothing’s better after a long shift, then to through on some aloe fuzzy socks and mask.
