No, never played them.
If you have never played a video game, I don’t think you are missing out on anything. First of all, they have changed a lot since I was growing up and there are many games that take advantage of your visual and audio senses. The graphics are great but if you don’t play them it won’t matter because they won’t do much for your brain.
Let's be honest here... If a video game is boring, let's go on to something else.
If a video game is boring, let's go on to something else. In fact, that's my current plan for Bioshock: Infinite. I've played about an hour of it so far and it's pretty good, but not quite captivating enough to keep me playing long-term. The art style is nice and everything seems fairly realistic. There are a few little things in combat that are somewhat unique, like breaking down your guns into parts to make new guns with different parts on them. That sounds fun!

Why don't we start by learning about my first experience with video games.
I remember playing them when I was a kid. I have to admit that my first experience with video games wasn’t exactly what you would call awesome; it was more along the lines of embarrassing. My friends and I were on our way to school one morning, and as we were walking, one of them suggested that we head over to a store nearby and check out some of their new video games.

The latest game system I got was a Playstation 4, although I’ve still got my old Wii that my kids like to play on. We do still have an Xbox 360 but it rarely gets used nowadays. My wife doesn’t like playing video games, so it’s mostly just me and the kids in our house these days. Speaking of which, they haven’t been bothering me at all lately!
